Malik Wilder, Founder of F.I.S.H, Inc. (Finding Inspiration-Sharing Hope) www.fishinc.org and a certified instructor for the Future Fisherman Foundation and American Sport fisherman Association’s “Hooked on Fishing-Not on Drugs program in the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area recognized the need to raise the awareness of sport fishing and boating. With 30yrs of fishing skills and experience, Malik relates patience, organization, focus, determination, preparedness, and consideration to life skills that he teaches the youth in his organization. F.I.S.H, Inc. (Finding Inspiration-Sharing Hope) is a non profit organization with a purpose of educating youth in the community on environmental consciousness, health and safety through sport fishing and boating.

As an avid sport fisherman with respect & safety, opportunity, success and teamwork, Malik decided to announce F.I.S.H, Inc.’s involvement in the community and its campaign project to get the youth participating in fishing and the outdoors. Malik Wilder is also the proud owner of www.fishingforhiphop.com which is a campaign project that aims to cross market the fishing industry with the Hip-Hop culture while raising the awareness of F.I.S.H, Inc. Malik created a pilot Fishing TV show that allows a fan to go fishing with a major Hip Hop Artist. This lucky fan will have to prove why he/she should be chosen to fish along side a major artist and to be a featured guest on the show. The campaign also includes a CD compilation and a fishing educational DVD. ” Malik expresses, “I plan on introducing Hip-Hop to the fishing industry to show how one can appeal to the other which I am sure will catch on to the youth like a Lake Trout on a trolling rig.”

F.I.S.H, Inc. and Fishingforhiphop.com purpose and visions are parallel with Georgia’s governor Sonny Perdue’s state budget proposal for 2008. Gov. Perdue who told lawmakers he wanted to spend $19 million to promote fishing and mentioned that each year, residents and tourists spend nearly $600 million on fishing. ‘We can do even better. We will turn Georgia into a fisherman's paradise,’ stated Gov. Perdue. With that in mind F.I.S.H., Inc. and Fishingforhiphop.com will focus on getting youth more involved in a sport that is popularly known for elders.
