About Buddy:
When I was a little kid my uncle took me on a trip on a sailboat and I was instantly hooked. After years of renting boats and owning rubber rafts I'm now the happiest owner of a 1989, 2670 Holiday, Cruiser Yacht. Trust me nobody has ever been happier to own a boat than me. I even prefer to go to sleep in the boat with the hatch open looking up at the stars than inside the house and she sits on the trailer in the front yard. Her name is Zippy Seaweed. Her launch date was supposed to be in late May or early June but just quickly taking that crappy looking old bottom paint off turned out to be one pain in the butt job. Four months of hard, almost daily labor. Sanding, grinding, pressure washing, groaning, cussing etc. New boaters be very afraid of bottom paint. Seasoned boaters, warn new boaters. Don't mess with the bottom paint.

Trying to redicover fishing in my mid-thirties. Plan on taking all of my children fishing as much as I can from here on out & may even be able to convince the WIFE to come...I'll have to bait her hook, I'm sure! I'm feeling an actual PHYSICAL need to buy a boat & hit the water!
