About Buddy:
Bent Rod Media was formed by founding member Ryan aka "Raul". Ryan currently resides in Granite Falls, NC, where he grew up fly fishing the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Ryan has fished in North Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, Florida, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Chile. Ryan is the primary video editor and cameraman. Additional Bent Rod founding members are Murphy aka "BayE" and Mitch aka "MLB". Murphy currently resides in Bridgeport, WV. Where he spends 150 days a year exploiting the many rivers of the Mountain State. Murphy is the Webmaster for www.BentRodMedia.com, assistant video editor, and Cameraman. Mitch currently resides in Shinnston, WV. Where he spends his free time scouting new water and tying flies. Mitch is our location scout, cameraman, and future country star. We are evolving as amateur film makers. We are working to be the East Coasts answer to the explosion of Fly Fishing film makers in the West. We started this as a hobby, and now we are on our way to turning Bent Rod Media into a Pro Fly Fishing Company.. We are looking for equipment sponsors, trip sponsors, and production sponsors. If you sponsor us we will use your equipment, and name your service in all videos. There will be an official link to your website posted on our website. Check us out at www.BentRodMedia.com and email us at BentRodMedia@BentRodMedia.com Fly fishing is an experience of total landscape. It defy's general analysis because it is so personal. But what does seem universal is that the more comprehensible we understand our total fishing environment the more downright pleasant our fishing experience proves to be. (Trout Bum Diaries Vol 1)

About Buddy:
The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation was formed in 1991 to join volunteers who love to fish with disabled and disadvantaged children for a day of fishing in the outdoors. The C.A.S.T. for Kids Event was designed to create an environment whereby children and adults could benefit, leaving their problems on shore and sharing a day of fun on the water that they may not otherwise get to experience.
C.A.S.T. for Kids furthers its mission by increasing awareness of disabled and disadvantaged children in communities and teaching appreciation for natural resources. This is all made possible through the cooperation of government agencies and local interest groups, and creates a rare and positive experience for our youth.
During each of the Foundation’s first four years, three events were held in the states of Washington and Idaho. Since then, the total number of annual events has grown to over 50 events across nearly half of United States. Each year more volunteers assist, more donors contribute and more children participate.
In 1996 due to continued requests and overwhelming interest, the Fishing Kids fishing series was developed to introduce and educate all urban youth to the sport of fishing. The Fishing Kids Program, built around the slogan, “Getting more kids fishing, more often,” is designed to create and provide more fishing opportunities for urban youth.
C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation aims for presence across the nation allowing children everywhere and of any means an opportunity to learn how to fish. We have a partnered with several great organizations and individuals who help us make this possible.
