About Buddy:
I am 47 this January 09. I have been fishing all my life. I grew up fishing the entire Bay Area, dams, rivers and lakes. When I was old enough I moved to the Delta region. I have fished all different types and species and developed my own sportsmen conduct. I have had several boats and still have many. I fish for anything. I let them go and I eat some mostly the trout. I now live in the Sierra foothills and this year 09 would like to learn the Chinook/Salmon. I love fishing books tackle other fisherman.

I love to fish. I have been known to stand out in the pouring rain, freezing temps, threat of tornado... to catch a fish.

About Buddy:
I am a purist when it comes to trout fishing, I love fly-fishing. When I am not fishing or planning a trip, I will begin tie my own flys, particularly nymphs. I have developed a hybrid of a hare's ear, pheasant tail, and scud that works every where I have tried it.
I do actually work for a living, but if I could fly-fish for a living I would. I am a System Analyst for a software company that develops and supplies software to Credit Unions. I do quite of bit of programming in Cache (Mumps or M for those of you familiar with it), and this affords me some travel time to areas of the country that I typically would not make it. For example, I have been out to Montana, Utah, and the Driftless Region in Wisconsin. Yes, when time allows I have made it a point to fish these areas, with great success. -
