My favorite tackle is top water and buzzbaits but i always seem to catch the bigger bass with a simple black or blue plastic worm.

I find that almost all of my big bass have been caught using a soft plastic worm or tube. Colors are always varied for different times or water but soft plastic is my go to for monster fish!

I caught a 10-1/2 lb bass today on a soft plastic fluke today. it is the biggest largemouth I have caught. I caught it before church. I was fishing for a spawning bass in our creek.

Live and cut bait for salt water. I prefer the dare devils and count-down's for everything fresh. One of the largest fish was still on a single kernel of corn on an ice fishing jig for bluegill in summer time when I landed a 22lbs grass Carp!
