Im still goin with my ol reliable and this is the doctor minnow. All im doin is burining it back or twitching it as hard as I possibly can without peeling drag. Either this or my second best being a blue fox vibrax spinner in plain silver just reeled fast . This usually bring out a reaction strike from these smallies which is key to a successful day.

Fishing has gotten tougher on the Juniata and susky but i think this will turn around this week as the water level drops and the water clears a little. Still catching smallies but not in big numbers that I usually expect this time of year. murky water has influence bait choices. lots of crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and big tubes!
