For people looking 4 or willing to share their knowledge about Lake Trout fishing and what works for them. I fish year round for Lakers and so far I am most successful in summer. My primary lake contains Lake Trout (of course), Arctic Char, Burbot and Pike. Unfortunatley we can only have one line and NO live bait use (I hate it!), but it's close to home and trophy fish are abundant. HELP ME HELP YOU! Let's see what we can accomplish...

I started this Group in hopes of some people will know of fishing spots to fish from the bank of Lake Pontchartrain....
There is a saying that after the new I-10 twin bridges in Slidell are built and both sides are fully open for car 7 truck traffic they will also build a fishing pier out of the old I-10 twin bridges from the north shore... I like to find out are they going to also build a fishing pier from the south shore out of the old I-10 twin bridges....
I hope some one can comment on this issue.... Thanks wellcome to the group. -
