Lake Erie is truly the smallmouth bass capital of North America where five pound bass are caught almost everday. Eastern Lake Erie is the summer home to some of the lakes biggest walleye. An annual migration ofthe biggest walleye from around the lake all converge on the eastern basin. Walleye over ten pounds are a common occurance.
