We have caught smallmouth as large as 4 1/2 lbs out of Walcott.

There are very large Smallmouth bass in lake Walcott and large trout. I don't think there are alot of largemouth because of the rapid rate of turnover of water which makes the lake way to cold for largemouth to inhabit the lake. There are also bullhead and channel catfish. Very nice camp grounds to camp and small cabins to rent. Bring plenty of mosquito repellent.
