It's been awhile since I've talked to you. I wonder if you know anything about why I am having trouble finding Hellgramites in the Frankstown branch of the J. I haven't been able to find them in the spots that i used to. Did something change on the river?

Where on the Juniata do you like to fish? I will be on the Juniata the weekend of May 15th and 16th. My friends and I like to fish about 10 miles outside of Harrisburg, and we really knock the *** out of them there. I am always open to driving a little farther for good fishing.

Heck, bad camera, bad lighting, or even a bad hair day it is still a nice fish !!! I would take a 20.5" smallmouth any day....

Big D, if trout is what your looking for you in the right place. Spring Creek is a premier limestone stream. I fish it often during the winter months only. Also, the Little Juniata is just around the corner and has some dandy trout.

PA-Smallies, I was just out your way yesterday to the PSU basketball game. I was also out and about the rest of the day looking for some nice areas to fish. Have any suggestions?

Eric, Thats quite a resume! Hope you can share some of you big smallie tactics with us some time!

Smallmouth rock, there is nothing like having light spinning setup and watching your line peel off. I mostly wade rivers from Maryland,Pa,Va and WVa. Last year I caught 40 smallies over 17" and a handful over 20".
