Hey Everyone, Hows your fishing going? Does anyone know of a campground on a lake we can camp, fish, night fish, right on water, short term, or all summer? Need around Alliance, Canton, in that area, within 1 hour, of Alliance. Thanks Kim. I have been real busy I am now with Keller Williams Realty, I will try to post more often.

Carnation Festival Kids Fishing Derby, was such a Great success, I want to First Thank the Kids, for the smiles, the laughs, the frowns, the Pride, these kids have, makes it all worth it, to me, One Grandfather told me at the Days in the Park, that his granddaughter, won a prize and a trophy at the derby and has not let go of here trophy since, she put it up on the dash window in hers moms car, carry’s it with her every where she goes. And that makes me feel good because I can still remember my trophies I would win, I had them for 20 some years, but we moved and for some reason they didn’t move when we did. Well anyway thank you for the story, Grandpa, and I am one, another parent told me their son won a Tackle Box, and was putting stuff in it and got some more tackle from his dad to make it special, man do I remember that, my first tackle box. Calling All Ohio Fishing Club Members Kids Fishing Derby needs help, That’s right this years Carnation Festival Fishing Derby which is held August 8, 2010 is in need of volunteers to help measure and to record this years derby stats, The Berkley fishing team decided not to do the derby this year, because they felt we could do it on our own, So I am asking for anyone that wants to help has to be at the kidweel lake at 8:00 the morning of the derby. Ready to help children from 4 to 12 during the derby, we should be done by 11 or 11;30 that morning after prizes, which are all donated, this years Kids Derby is being sponsored by the American Legion post 166, in Alliance Ohio, Walmart, Kames, Tall Tales Bait Shop, Sebring Trophy, Carnation Child Care, Buying or Selling kimhenderson.com

Ohio Fishing Tip, When you fish in Ohio, have the bait for the size of the fish you want to catch, I don’t mean we all don’t get lucky and yes every lake pond stream is different but typically when you are fishing on a lake, think of yourself a steak or a plain burger what would you eat dangling on the fork, lol But its true the Bigger the Bait the BIGGER the FISH! So next time when you go to your favorite bait store say how about 6 or 12 shad, Ill pass on the 2inch minnows this week, and see how you do. Calling all Fishing buddies, here it is seems like everyone’s been waiting to know where I fish, well of course I have my favorite farm ponds that I swore to secrecy on them. My Number One Favorite place to fish is Stark Parks in Stark County Ohio, Walborn and Deer Creek, lakes in Alliance Ohio, my hometown, as I Capt the pontoons around the lakes for the www.starkparks.com I tell the guest that about the bass, cat, bluegill, walleye, carp, white bass, pike, and who knows what else, that the fishing is bad people don’t catch anything here I tell them, LOL , But folks there is no place more beautiful then being on the trails, the shore, watching sunset, having a picnic with the family, or my favorite, fishing on the best keep little secret in Ohio. Stark Parks: Deer Creek, Sippo, Walborn. So everyone their you go, respect the environment! Throw away your trash! Of course this is all just my opinion. Does anyone have line tangle? lol, its seems I am getting older or I just not using the right lines, after all these years I am still having back lash problems with my reels. So I am asking all my fishing buddies, what they feel the best no tangle no back lash line is?. I know we are always going to have some; but what is the best line to use? I would like to hear what line others are using and how its working? Any help you can give me I would really be thankful. So let’s have a vote. Thanks Everyone Capt Kim

They must have know I was fishing, lol, or their was no fish in the water or they just weren’t biting. You pick one, but all I caught this weekend was stickfish. Lots of stickfish. I would like to get our Ohio fishing group larger, and get new members, and I hope this summer some of my fishing buddies will want to come to Alliance Ohio and help me with my kids fishing derby and their will be 150 kids there. for more info keep checking here or my site www.kimhenderson.com.
