Part of my family would like to visit North Carolina and part of my family wants to bass fish. Is there anywhere in or near NC where we could stay on the water, is boat accessable, and we can catch nice freshwater fish?

I'm putting my first fish on the wall after my trip to Dothan, Alabama this weekend. I've passed up on mounting a lot of 8-10 pounders. Thank god I waited for this beast. 13 1/4 pounds. Watermelon/red fluke .

I found the fish see the braid and I have added a 10ft leader to my line and catch more fish that way. Without the leader I was getting mostly instant reaction bites.

I bought braid line for the first time to use this season. My question is do I need some flurocarbon or monofillament as a leader or at attach to the reel?

Caught a couple on Buzz baits the other monrning. This summer in ohio has been extra cold so they are sticking around the shallow areas longer.

got out to the quarrys today. caught about 15 or 20 large mouth but my first was my best. she was a monster 5 pounder full of eggs. the people i fish with wanted me to keep her and have her mounted since she was my biggest ever but i couldnt stand the thought of not letting her let those eggs loose and adding to the bass population in my hot spot. i got some pics with my phone but i cant figure out how to get them from there to here lol but believe me she was a beauty. until next time........happy fishing everyone!!!!!!!
