caught 4.5 lb catfish on livers at lake moss.can't get bass to hit anything ,that take bait and lose them when i set hook..

I CAUGHT 4 BASS THIS WEEKEND 2 WERE 17 AND 19 INCHES THE OTHER 2 WERE ABOUT 14 AND 15. WENT OUT THIS MORNING AGAIN WITH NO LUCK THOUGH.

I sent your baits out today. You should be getting them about monday or tuesday. Use that Pumpkin seed one on dark cloudy days. In my experience the darker the day the darker the buzzbait should be. We throw them all through the night and I have won countless tourneys with it. Ricky, When I first started using a baitcaster I was given a tip that made a huge difference. When casting, Turn the reel over so the handles are pointing toward the sky. This will force you to use your wrist more and also lets the line come off the reel smoother. Not turning the reel over will cause you to bend more at the elbow and shoulder which could lead to throwing the bait straight down, and we all know what that causes! Hope this helps!

JUST LOTS OF PRACTICE, I JUST GOT MY FIRST BAIT CASTER THIS YEAR AND I DON'T KNOW HOW THE PROS MAKE IT LOOK SO EASY BUT I'M SLOWLY GETTING THE HANG OF IT.
