Just flew back to Indiana for the holidays! I plan to do some cat fishing and HOPEFULLY fish for some smallmouths in the next couple weeks. I plan to fish some of the rivers in Indiana... weather permitting. I'll try to post some pics after my trips!

Hey everyone! I went to the Southern Oregon Coast this past week! I volunteered with the Fish& Wildlife doing winter surveys... On top of that, I got to go fishing and catch a nice steelhead! I have 2 videos posted in case anyone feels like checking out some extreme backwoods Oregon fishing!

Getting colder... bass are slowing down. I might change gears toward the winter salmon fishing. I plan to volunteer with the Oregon Dept. Fish & Wildlife next week conducting winter salmon survey. If I'm lucky, I'll get to go out in the evenings and try to hook into one.

Hey guys! I did an interview this morning on "The Big Wild" radio show! "The Big Wild" is a show for those that love the outdoors as well as a little humor! I believe my interview will be broad casted in early December. When I find out the specs, I'll let everyone know. You can check out more info on the show, its viewing area, and featured topics on thebigwild.com

Awesome! My mahi probably weighed about 35 lbs. It was a good fight for sure. Arms hurt the next day. =) Glad you're getting the lay of the land out there in Oregon. Thanks for all your help lately with media stuff!!!

Slowly learning how to catch Salmonids on the West coast. I caught my first steelhead this past weekend! I had to hike into a place called HellGate Canyon... and yes it totally lived up to its name. The canyon was actually formed by lava rock and made for some steep terrain. It was also a bit of a challenge trying to climb down the rocks to land a fish. All in all, the experience was extreme and discrete of any fishing I've done prior. The scenery was incredible. Sorry, I don't have any pics of the canyon itself... forgot my camera in the truck!

Just moved to Oregon from Indiana! Finding a bass here and there, but having a little difficulty. Thankfully, the few fish I have been catch have had good size. My first fish in Oregon came two weekends ago and went 5lbs!
