  About:	Kidsfishing.org, a 501(c)(3) a non-profit organization, is committed to preserving and promoting the sport of fishing by teaching kids how to fish. Working toward our mission, we have launched a Kids Fishing Club in the Weston, Florida area. Ultimately we will have affiliated clubs in other regions plus a website filled with instructional information. Our club will strongly emphasize education and conservation. We aren't offering just another kids fishing derby. Each of our monthly events will include a half hour of hands on education before we get to fish. Every event will feature a new type of bait, lure, or technique. We will teach responsible and ethical angling practices, fish identification, safety, and many other important topics.
