Gender: Female Age: 48 Your Location: Ethelsville, Alabama About You: When I was a little kid my uncle took me on a trip on a sailboat and I was instantly hooked. After years of renting boats and owning rubber rafts I'm now the happiest owner of a 1989, 2670 Holiday, Cruiser Yacht. Trust me nobody has ever been happier to own a boat than me. I even prefer to go to sleep in the boat with the hatch open looking up at the stars than inside the house and she sits on the trailer in the front yard. Her name is Zippy Seaweed. Her launch date was supposed to be in late May or early June but just quickly taking that crappy looking old bottom paint off turned out to be one pain in the butt job. Four months of hard, almost daily labor. Sanding, grinding, pressure washing, groaning, cussing etc. New boaters be very afraid of bottom paint. Seasoned boaters, warn new boaters. Don't mess with the bottom paint. Favorite Activities: I really like boating and fishing. I'm also an avid swimmer and love to ride a waverunner. If it's wet and fun count me in. Well, most of the time. I water ski a little bit but there are a lot of big alligators in the Tombigbee river and I always felt like topwater bait bait so I nixed that activity. I also love to write and just hang out and have a great time. Favorite Species of Fish: Sharks down in Panama City. Up here catfish and bass. I catch and release all the time. Sharks can be quite a challenge at times and for my first few I was glad to have had a few glasses of Zinfandel before tackling them. They were small not quite three feet. Favorite Tackle: Ugly Stik Catfish with a Shakespeare Intrepid is my favorite all around fishing pole. It's light enough to use all day long without getting sore and has a super soft tip but strong enough to catch pretty much anything.
For off shore I use a Shakespeare Pirus Bigwater with a Pirus baitcast.Number of Anglers Invited: 0
