Gender: Female Age: 32 Your Location: Des moines, Iowa About You: I currently live in Iowa, but I was born in Bemidgi, Minnesota, and while there is good fishing in Iowa, I desperately miss the thousands of "hotspots" and the amazing scenery found in northern Minnesota. I was young when we left there but I go back as often as I can. In a year I'm moving down to New Orleans and that will be a whole new fishing experience that I'm very much looking forward to. Favorite Activities: Camping and fishing are my favorite outdoor activities. I'm out fishing a couple of times a week. I only get out to camp about once a month though. I have crazy hours at work so unfortunately I'm stuck pretty close to home most of the time. I'm not big on the computer, but I'm always looking online for new ideas for fishing and camping near here. Favorite Species of Fish: It depends. Fresh trout are the only fish I'll eat. I love fishing for walleye and bass but for different reasons. (It may sound girly but they're my favorite lures to shop for too). I like crappie too because for being a light fish they put up a good fight. Favorite Tackle: Once again, it depends what I'm looking for, besides I'm not an expert, so I read, take advice, and constantly try different things in different types of water for different types of fish and see what happens.
