Some neat new gear introduced at ICAST last week. Gamakatsu has a number of new bass hooks, Maxima line introduced their new green Treazure --- low stretch, high abrasion resistance, excellent knot strength; lots of new rods and reels out for 2012. Expect to see rods get lighter and more sensitive; reels get smaller; line get more sensitive, stronger and smaller diameter; hooks to get sharper and technique specific; and tackle more refined. Lots to look forward to.
