Live bait (minnows) seem to work best, however light colored plastics do Ok as well if you use a weedless rig. Pond is packed with lilly pads but there is some areas of open water. Boats are NOT needed (they might be prohibited as well). Nice bank areas, picnic table, power outlets. Parking is a problem though. Don't block the entrance or the town will tow your vehicle.
Bass and sunfish are plentiful here. PLEASE keep it that way by practicing catch and release.
