I went to Canton Lake last weekend, and I had a great time fishing with family and friends. We caught several hybrids and walleye trolling and drifting. It was extremely windy and the water was pretty rough, and a lot of the boats were in the coves crappie fishing out of the wind. We saw several people on shore reeling in nice sized crappie on a regular basis.

I have only been to Ft. Cobb once and had a little luck with the hybrids on the first day catching 5, but our smallest one was approx. 18". We found them on the west side of the lake off of points between the dam and the campgrounds. I am planning on a return trip in April, and hopefully they wont be letting out water. Which seemed to slow the fishing there the last time I was there.
My inlaws all love Canton and its the primary place they go to fish for sandies and crappie. If you have any tips on Canton please share.

I fish Canton quite a bit, especially in the spring. I have a buddy that moved over near Fort Cobb and we have thought about hitting it, any tips on where to got find some eyes or hybrids?

Had a great morning at Thunderbird. Father-in-law and I caught a bunch of sand bass trolling. We also landed several crappie and my first legal saugeye of 23" all by 9:30 am.
