Favorite Fishing Story:
My daughter and I went out in the boat on Lake Hartwell. The wind came up and we were trying to get off the big water and find some shelter in a cove. I cut too close to an island trying to stay in the 3 footers and out of the 5 footers when we struck a submerged shoals and damaged the lower unit on the motor. We made it to a cove checked out the boat it wasn't sinking and was still running.

So while we waited for the wind to calm down I started throwing a Storm Chug Bug in about 6 feet of water hoping to hook up a spot or bucket mouth. On the third or fourth cast I hooked up with a monster striper on 10 Lbs test and a 6' medium rod and little spin casting reel.

After about 15 minutes and that fish trying to tow us out of the cove back into the wind we landed that monster and she weighed in at 20-7. Made the $500 of damage to the motor and boat go down a bit easier.
