Favorite Species of Fish:	Whatevers bitin'. Usually largemouth or smallmouth bass, bluegill, crappie. Cats when I'm hungry.

My Anglers’ Legacy

Who got me involved in fishing:
I've always enjoyed going to the lake and fishing for bluegill off the dock with my brother. I never really had anyone that took me fishing on a regular basis. The only time I really went fishing from a boat was with my sister-in-law's family. Her dad and granparents took me and her cousin out and we caught quite a few fish. Within the past few years I've gotten into it a lot more on my own and now have my own boat to take my nieces and nephews fishing.

Favorite Fishing Story:
I was about 11 years old and I was fishing on the dock at the lake (1 hr 15 min. away) and I got a rusty treble caught in my leg. We couldn't get it out so we drove to the hospital at home in a record time of 45 minutes.

Best Fishing Joke:
I once heard someone say that a fishing line is a piece of string with a worm on one end and a darned fool on the other. I think this is a silly definition, of course, because I don't always use a worm.
