I was born and raised outside of Cleveland Ohio so when I return home for visits I try to get on Lake Erie and do some walleye or smallmouth fishing. I have two children. 1 in college and 1 a senior in school.

With the mild temps took the boat out and found some good slabs of crappie near drop offs and submerged trees...

Water level is dropping at lake for winter pool. Fishing is still pretty good with some crappie, hybrids and a few cats being taken...

Fishing was good this past weekend. Caught a nice blue catfish as well as a couple largemouth... The cooler temps and overcast skies helped... Waiting for the hybrids to start coming up from the deeper parts...

Well I will write something more but don't think anyopne reads this so will keep it short and simple....
Fishing was good this weekend with cooler temps... Caught a few small bass but thats it.. Water temps really dropped with the rain and cooler evenings... Hope it picks back up...

Was a little warm this weekend but the largemouth were hitting pretty good early morning. My son caught a nice 3.5 pounder and I a few smaller ones.
