There is a bunch of little bass. I haven’t caught a decent one, maybe once a 5 pounder. The reason the river is calm down here is because of the Falcon Dam. But when they release water the current can get out of control with a lot of stain.

I was in Zapata, TX yesterday. I passed by a sign that said Lake Casa Blanca on HWY 83. I wanted to check it out but I wasn't driving. I'll probably check it out sometime this month.
I haven't fished a weightless rig. I wonder how that works. My favorite artificial bait is by BIG BITE the “Fighting frog” Red/Flake you should try it on a Texas rig at the lake. I like to us it on a ¼ oz bullet weight.
