Who got me involved in fishing:
I don't know where my grandparents got it, but they passed the gene onto my mother, who passed it on to me, who passed it on to my daughter, who passed it on to her kids...
Favorite Fishing Story:
My daughter and I were out on a lake, searching for a tagged fish worth a lot of money, when I storm brewed up. We were bound and determined to catch that fish...as much as it rained and as many times as the storm pushed us towards shore, we went back out, until it just got so bad, we couldn't take it anymore. We even sat in the truck for a long time, hoping the storm would pass, wanting so bad to get back out on that lake. Wet and exhausted, we finally called it a day and packed it in while it was still storming something fierce, so you can about imagine how rough this whole day was...my daughter was a trooper through all of the adventure and never complained once--even though she was 5 months pregnant at the time! (Someone did eventually catch the fish "accidently"...they were test driving their boat after some modifications, and thought to drop a line while they were out there already...yes, our noses got a little bent out of shape)
Best Fishing Joke:
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. TEACH a man to fish and he'll always be out in a boat....plus I love the website www.bestfishingjokes.com/
