As of 6:00 a.m. 2-20-2009, the lake elevation for today is 646.09 ft. above sea level and rising. The surface water temperature is 45 degrees, and at 10 ft is 45 degrees.
Fishing is reported to be good. Bass fishing is best during the day, while throwing a jig, crank bait, or soft plastic around grass and rocky points. Crappie are being taken on jigs and minnows around grass and brush piles in the creeks.
