I've got a couple of pictures from the Umpqua on my page now. I'm heading down there again on the tenth with Mallard Boy and LJ. Keep up with the nice kings! Tight Lines, Jim

Howdy Dan! Wednesday we caught one small chinook and a couple native cohos that we released. Thursday we caught three Chinook and two or three Coho (again, all native). Friday we couldn't find the Chinook to save our souls but we ran down to the dunes and caught 8 or 9 Coho. One of the Coho was a beautiful 15-16# buck. All the Coho we caught had their adipose fins intact so they went swimming instead of into the fish box. It was still a fun three days. I'll post some pictures on my page as soon as I can find a teenager to help me download the darn camera. Tight Lines!

How did salmon festival go? Sounds like a great event. Hope you did well. I'm heading for the Umpqua river in the morning, hoping to score a few chinook. Tight Lines, Jim

Hey Dan, Tell me about Salmon Festival. Is it a derby or contest of sorts or just a fun event? Whichever, enjoy the fishing! Tight lines and heavy stringers, Jim

Umpqua was slow yesterday. Two small native Coho for 9 hours of effort. Still beat the heck out of working though! Tight Lines, Jim
