Hi Michael, thanks very much! We've managed a few nice cats over by the island, by the wall and a couple of other places on the lake but really never found any of the deep holes. We really do need to get a dept finder. It's our first season out here. Just bought the place over at Country Side and spent most of the summer cat fishing on the lake. Always a great time no matter what. Not always productive but we put that up to learning the lake and figure each season will get better. No crappie though... that kind of surprised us. We figure not the rite bait. Hope they keep the lake up for a while longer we definitely aren't done this year by a long shot! Do you get out there much? Thanks again! Enjoy this cool weather!

Down near the dam in the No Wake Zone area and before you go into the no wake zone to the dam, I'm guessing about 100 yard south and about 100 feet off shore. There is a two cone feature close together in this area also that I have take 2 walleye off of, and watched a 3 foot flat head on the surface. You can find this spot by looking for someone fishing in the middle of the lake, there is usually a boat sitting on top of them. I will take my GPS the next time I'm out there and post depp spot coordinates. By the way, these spots are located near the beach and launch site inside Lieber State Park.
