I used to fish alot with my father as a child and didn't really get to involved with it. I pretty much liked going because that gave me time to bond with my dad and mother nature.. I remember spending all night out there on the river bank and putting my worm on with a glove.
Now I enjoy camping and fishing and started my children doing the same. My adult boys love lure fishing and when they come to visit, we head for the lake. My daughter, 21 yrs, will be here in August and hasn't fished much but seems eager..
I have 6 grandchildren, the oldest being 7yrs and youngest 7 mths old.Favorite Activities: Swimming, Camping, Fishing, Board Games, Reading, Music, Shopping for great deals, Walking trails, working out at the gym...Kereoke Favorite Species of Fish: Catfish, Crappie, Bass Favorite Tackle: Shad, Minnow, Worm and Stinkbait for Catfish.

To keep liver on the hook you can use a small strip of panty hose. just thread it on as you thread on the liver. Also you should try using a j hook. It's a lot easier on the fish. I don't use chicken liver that much anymore. I like to use fresh shrimp. You can also cut some peices of the liver and set them in the sun to harden up as you fish. This helps also.
