It's location is on the "Type 2" TPW land just North of Naples and SouthEast of Highway 67. Wear good hiking shoes and be prepared to walk a distance to get there because ATVs and vehicles are restricted unless you have a handicapped permit or are riding a horse. The lake is used as a bird watching outpost and a permit is required to access the land as well. Despite the trek to get to this remote place the rewards in Fall and Spring are great. Largemouth bass are abound and very hearty in this approximate 60 acre lake. A portable boat is ideal for an excellent day full of fishing.
