Live near the ocean and have gone out a few times--thought about doing more.
Have membership to Lighthouse Resort and Marina on the California Delta and want to do more there.Favorite Species of Fish: Trout--mainly because that is most of the fishing I have done; want to learn more and fish other species. Because of the Lighthouse ownership--interested in bass, sturgeon, catfish etc
Also, thught about more ocean fishing around the Monterey Bay.Favorite Tackle: Whatever works best. Number of Anglers Invited: 0

saw your post on Northern California Tips.
I have been trying for awhile to find a great place to fish near or around the city (San Jose, Santa Clara) I have yet to find anything nice.
but as for lake fishing you most go try Clear Lake for bass, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!
I have not been fishing for to long but I have been reading everything I can on it I dream to one day catch THE BIG ONE.
need any tips on such as what type o' jigs to use ect. then let me know.

Stephan Thanks for the advice. I have been to Clear Lake but not tried fishing there. I will research it. Any particulat area or technique especially good?
