Favorite Fishing Story:
One day when I was at the fishing pier, after about an hour I noticed my rod tip bending and I heard drag being taken out. I started fighting the "fish" for about 10 minutes. To my surprise I saw that my hook caught onto a surfer's surfboard and not a fish! There was a crowd of about twenty fishermen gathering around me. We all had a great big laugh over my terrific catch!

Any good ideas on how to make pier/bridge gaff? Also any good gaffs to buy for under $30.

I would definately go with a mono cast net for the duribility.. and i personnaly own only Fitec cast nets and i have only had to replace one in the last 3 years. hope that helps

I am looking into a 4-5 foot cast net for saltwater fishing and I was wondering if I should buy Nylon or Mono. Also any suggestions on any brand or store to get it at.
