Located on the Dorchester County side of the Edisto River just off Highway 61. Edisto River is a large blackwater river and is beautiful, clean, pure... not what one is used to seeing in the city! Fishing can be hampered when there are a lot of folks swimming but it's beautiful and peaceful nonetheless. Park office even offers rods and reels and tackle for those that do not own their own.
