Lake Erie is truly the smallmouth bass capital of North America where five pound bass are caught almost everday. Eastern Lake Erie is the summer home to some of the lakes biggest walleye. An annual migration ofthe biggest walleye from around the lake all converge on the eastern basin. Walleye over ten pounds are a common occurance. how is fishing on Chautauqua Lake compared to Canadian Lakes like Rice Lake in Ontario? Panfish, bass, walleye?

The fishing season has started on eastern Lake Erie. I have been out 7 times in the last ten days. Once was a charter for bass. I have been fishing in and around the mouth of the Buffalo River, this is City Limit Fishing with a Lake Erie flair. We are catching big bass coming into the warmer water.
