  About You:	I still concider myself a rookie fisherman, but I have been studying fishing to try to get better. Havn't had anyone to really help me out in the learning process of fishing (what baits to use, tackles, rods/reel's, etc), so I had to learn all of this stuff on my own and have been learning for quite some time, and will always be learning! I now have two kids of my own and need to be able to teach them the tricks of the trade that I know so that they can one day become great fisherman. I have a lot of book knowledge and street knowledge on fishing, but I don't have some of the knowledge that the locals that have caught some great fish have. I normaly fish in the Cherry Grove marsh trying to catch bull reds (the one fish I think is gonna be a prize catch for me here), flounder, catfish, and trout. I came from the north (Syracuse, NY) area and am used to catching rainbow trout, brown trout, and crappies, and have been somewhat successful in those, but here in the south it's a whole different experience: the fish are much much pickier and harder to catch! Any help would be appreciated and finding new buddies to go fishing with down here is my goal! I want to learn and I want to have some fun with other fisherman! I don't own a boat, and don't have much money so I usualy stick to what I can find and what I can afford, and that happens to be bank fishing!

  Favorite Species of Fish:	I enjoy Trout, Bass, and other fish...but my favorites so far are: Bull Reds (aka spotted bass, red bass, red drum, redfish) Rainbow Trout Brown Trout (sometimes refered to as Brook Trout) Largemouth Bass
  Favorite Tackle:	Spoons: Any kind of spoon. In 1879 (I believe was the year), spoons were believed to be one of the new kinds of lures used, and have been successful since! They have been known to be the most effective lures out there as they naturally mimic the baitfish native to the waters you fish in, and allow for great light refraction that, if you choose correctly, can mimic the same light refraction that comes from the same bait fish you're trying to mimic. Takes some minor skill to get them to work right, but once you get the hang of it, they work wonders! I also like Minows and flys. I've used live bait most of my life, but I find it more challenging with lures, so i like to stick to them till I get the hang of it!
