Who got me involved in fishing:
My dad and grandpa on weekend trips I'll never forget and still think about often.
Favorite Fishing Story:
Two of them. I was in Alaska fishing with my wife. She had never been fishing before she met me and had no idea what to do. I remember the look on her face when she yelled "FISH ON!" and started yelling for help. I was running over yelling instructions and she was almost crying she was so excited. When she landed that 3lb pike, it seemed 10 feet long to both of us.
My son caught his first blue crab--with a rod and reel. The way he yelled "Dad what is that yucky thing?!" made everyone on the pier laugh out loud. He tells everyone we fish with...many times.
Best Fishing Joke:
Two guys were fishing under a bridge. A funeral persession roles by above them and the guy up front stands up and takes his hat off and puts it over his heart. When it had passed, the guy in back said "Bob, I've fished with you all my life and I didn't know you were religious?!"
He looks back at him and said "What do you expect?! I was married to her for 30 years!"
