  About You:	I've been fishing since I could hold a rod and reel. Started with a pole and bobber with my grandpa and dad and finally graduated to a zebco 33 combo. I went out every day as a teen and fished with my brother and best friend. When my dad could take us out with him--well, we still talk about some of those trips. My son is 6 and getting into the same things as me so I'm looking forward to teaching him like I was.
  Favorite Activities:	Fishing, hunting, sports. I love to be outside...doing anything but yard work. My son is my new hunting buddy and begs me to take him out all the time so we are out as much as possible.
  Favorite Species of Fish:	I was raised chasing crappie--(pronounced CROPPY in Missouri)--I've fished all over the country and it remains my favorite. It is also the first fish I remember catching. We were in a tiny jonboat with my grandpa. They may not be the biggest fish in the lake, but when you find a school it's non-stop fun. Salmon in AK was a thrill and a half. Pike up there grow to enormous sizes. Bass fishing in a weed filled body of water is also up there.
  Favorite Tackle:	I would rather use live bait any day of the week. For crappie, I'll also use a jig tipped with a minnow or a small Rat-L-Trap or roadrunner jig. For bass and pike-top water is fun and even without a bite it takes concentration and keeps you busy. Also spinners and crankbaits.
