  Your Location:	I live in the Lansing area.
  About You:	I have just started taking fishing seriously, and have only been fishing for two years or so. It's fair to say I don't know what I am doing, & rarely catch anything. But the fact is, I just really love being near the water, whether it's wading through the rivers or walking in the woods along the banks. It's ironic, considering that just a few years ago I thought it was a huge waste of time & would even ridicule my friend, with whom I now fish as much as possible. This year I want to try bait casting, and focus on bass. I also want to prepare for salmon & trout fishing in the autumn. In any case, I am very much looking forward to getting back to the water and learning more about technique & where to go for good biting.
  Favorite Activities:	Fishing, bike riding, watching movies.
  Favorite Species of Fish:	Bass. I am reading about them, their habitat, spawning, behavior and character. I ate one for the first time last year just pan-fried in butter, & it was the tastiest fish I have ever had the pleasure of eating.
  Favorite Tackle:	I really enjoy the feel of spinners, & get off on messing with how I reel in jigs.
