Gender: Female Age: 45 Your Location: Mansfield, Ohio About You: i started fishing more as a hobby several years ago. however now i have become quite the angler. i have lived in mansfield all my life. i until this past year always fished ponds. i have branched out into the lakes a little bit this summer. i havent done very well at cleafork but mifflin and knox lake have been hitting really well. Favorite Activities: well i am kind of into about anything with sports. pro ball college ball, nascar racing. the best thing in life is getting off work and racing to the fishing hole to go after the state record. some day i will have it! Favorite Species of Fish: what else, largemouth bass. i have caught a couple 16 inch crappie and i have had the experience of catching a few 20 inch catfish. knox lake is great for the big cats. Favorite Tackle: i use no live bait. funny thing i have a phobia of worms. i have several lures that i make in the workshop at home. inline spinners, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, deep diving and shallow runners. we have even molded and poured our own plastics. we have about every size and color you will ever want. the last fishing outing i had was our tourney on 4.10.2010 i came in 3rd. made the guys look a little silly because im the only female in the tourney. it was cold and windy but a total blast and well worth it.

well made it thru another winter. yeah. getting geared up for the spring season to start. relinig rods planning a road trip to bass pro shops in rossford ohio. sooo ready for the lakes to thaw. state record here i come.lol

well, i am not ready to give up on fishing just yet. i hate winter and i am considering trying ice fishing for the first time.brrrr. anybody with some ice fishing tips i could sure use them. first time for everything right?
