"Our goal is to establish a trail run by women anglers for women anglers," Bowden said. "We invite women and potential sponsors interested in a women’s trail to attend a meeting on May 5th at 10:00 A.M. to establish a board of directors and discuss a 2011 Women’s trail, locations, format, entry fees, rules, payouts, publicity, sponsorship opportunities and more."
"There will be a Women's Tournament on Kentucky Lake in May open to all interested ladies with two divisions; a Professional and a Co-Angler. We looked at our original tour dates for June, however, the Elite Series is fishing that week out of Paris Landing. Efforts to get publicity for us during the same time frame would not work in our favor"
"Kentucky lake was chosen for support, access. The Moors Resort and Marina is going to provide us with a meeting room, for all pre-tournament activities and after the tournament to map out our future. The Moors Resort and Marina will also provide discounts on reservations for anglers participating in this tournament. The Sportsmen's Edge, is the local Triton boat dealer. They are providing us wit all we need for running the tournament."
