Largemouth bass growth has been excellent. Largemouth bass are abundant and well represented in the 12-18 inch range. Spotted bass are also abundant with many spots in the 14-21 inch range, representing some of the best values in the state. In fact the spotted bass numbers in the 17-20 inch range equaled the highest value ever recorded from the lake. Spotted bass growth has been good to excellent, and their condition is outstanding. Bass club tournament results indicated Logan Martin was fourth in the state when evaluating catch data for 2009. Logan Martin rated first in percent success and third in bass caught per angler day.
