Milner Reservoir (dam)

Location: ID, Profile Manager: Jack Created: April 27th, 2009 Description: This is a small dam on the Snake River. There are around 15 to 20 miles you can travel up and down this river fishing. Fantastic fisheries for Smallmouth Bass and Channel Catfish as well as perch, and bullhead catfish and trout. Some of the best fishing and biggest Smallmouth reside in this section of the river. Many tournaments are held here during the summer. Launching facilities at the lower end of the reservoir or very good ramps and docks around Burley and Heyburn and Snake River Marina. I won angler of the year fishing from this reservoir for bass during one of the tournaments. I once had the most weight between my partner and I with a little over 19 lbs of bass in 9 fish. Hot during the summer but nice. Some campground facilities at the lower end of the reservoir by the dam and some just above the dam at Riverside bar which can be accessed from the river. There is also a big paddle boat that anchors at Riverside Bar and runs tours down the river with dinner and drinks aboard during the summer. Might call to make sure they are still running tours with the Paddle Boat. www.clubplanet.com/Venues/9941... Coordinates: 42.525, -114.008 Community Rating: Community Rating:
