Gender: Male Age: 49 Your Location: Smithsburg, Maryland About You: Was first introduced to fishing by my Grandfather and Dad and have been fishing ever since. Enjoy fishing the variety here in Western MD and the different bodies of water. Cunningham Falls, Beaver and Antietam Creeks (Devil's Back Bone) and of course the Potomac huntting down Walleye. Then within in a few hours drive I can be fishing the Bay. Favorite Activities: Spinning for bass on light tackle, fly fishing the small creeks and mountain streams. I also enjoy cuddling with my wife, my true fishin buddy! (no kidding she loves to fish). Watching NASCAR and baseball (real baseball the minor leagues and College ball) Favorite Species of Fish: Smallies and Trout Favorite Tackle: My 5ft 0weight fly rod, followed by my two ultra-light spincasting rods. One with 4lb test the other 2lb test

Niel,
The best way is to float down from upstream. The club is private property , and there are plenty of members that will chase a non member off. The river itself is free game for everyone though. The fishing above and below the dam is excellent. I have pulled many 16" and bigger smallies out of there.
