Who got me involved in fishing:
My stepfather when I was about 6 years old.Favorite Fishing Story:
It was in the middle of the night when I was about 8 years old. We were pier fishing at Yaopon Beach pier at Oak Island. We had gotten to know many of the old fishing guys thru the years. Many would like pull pranks on us young kids. It was about one or so in the morning when everything got real quite. Out of no where, the winds picked up and these old guys started sprinting down the pier. There were alot of four letter words flying out of their mouths that I learned to understand after smashing my finger with a hammer. I thought they were pulling another prank, when they ran by. We took off running with them leaving the lines standing on end except for the one that I had that left one *** of a mess. According to the old salty dog fishermen, there was a waterspout running close to the pier.

You may want to try around Phiser's Dock. Just a little further down the Cape Fear but some great fishing! Watch your depth on the right side though, their is a sand bar about half way in. This area is great for Trout, Flounder, Red & Black Drum! As far as those secret til you die holes, you'll have to book a charter with me, but I'll be glad to help with general good fishing spots! As for the Quarinteen Station, it's a good place if someone else is not on it.
