This is my first choice for taking children fishing. There are several small ponds that are teaming with bluegill. The water clarity is enough that you can see fish investigate the fly or worm. This makes for good lessons for children (and adults) on schooling behaviors, hook setting, and presentation. Enjoy!

This area is fishing well, but bring an extra can of bug spray. Fishing Crappie that are feeding on the surface was a ton of fun. Almost every cast produced a riser with pink and white poppers.
