Location: MitchellIN Profile Manager: sn00keye Coordinates: 38.7433, -86.4117 Water type (lake, river, bay, etc.): Reservoir Salinity Type (fresh, salt, or brackish): Fresh Public/Private: Public Description: There is a small spillway right where you park on Mill Creek Rd.This is a decent spot with topwater lures and shallow divers for small bass,I have caught a few two pounders here.Small jigs(1/16-1/32 oz.)work well for all types of panfish and small bass.I have only lived here for 6 months so if you catch anything or have any pictures e-mail them to me and i will be more than happy to post them. I went in late January and caught about six small bass and one small pike or walleye in the canal near the spillway.I only have one pic cuase i broke my phone with the pics on it.I had the digital camera but wasn't using it til later.I went about 8a.m. and left at around 9ish..

I went on 7/27/09 with my fiance and we caught 6 nice bass(none smaller than 3 lbs.)on 5 inch worms with no weights on a 2/0 hook.One bass was at least 5 lbs.The lake like looks like *** but the pockets with open water have fish.

I have done well with rapala's of all sizes and 4 and 6 inch worms with no weights for bass.I was here on 6/12 and caught 5 little ones on a small black and silver rapala.I brought my 6 year old son and girlfriend,they used live worms and did okay.We cuaght a very nice speckled perch on a 1/16 oz. jig with a charteusse tail the perch was roughly 3/4-1 pound.

I went today(2/25/10) and did pretty good in about 40 minutes.I caught three bass in the 1-2 lb. range(border line legal),a speckled perch that was close to a pound,and some type of fish i wasn't able to identify at the time of this posting.The weather was cold enough to the point that iI had to keep cleaning ice off of my guides,and it was early 8ish or so and snowing.I had fun and got my fishing fix.
