Fishing from shore is great in hawai'i too. I dream of catching a Ulua (Jack) over 100 lbs from shore using a spinning reel. anyone out there?

Some times, I would like to fish from a boat but when you do that, you don't meet the interesting people that are on the shore. Where I fish, there is a public pier and close by to it there is an Alanon group meeting place. Being a recovering alcoholic myself, it's fun to swap stories with them.

Hi folks, I stumbled onto this site while looking around to see if I could find a fishing buddy somehow so the wife wouldn't worry so much. I must admit, I like it so far.
