Gender: Male Age: 52 Your Location: Canada About You: Enjoying battling a fish on light tackle or the monster on big rigging. Have fished numerous locations. Many rivers and lakes in Canada. Sea of Cortez, Caribbean.
Favorite Activities: Fishing is one of them of course! Best day at work never beats a day of fishing.
(unless some hellish event happened. I do not mean you lost another big one! lol)
Becoming some what of a computer geek also. Seems to be the way of the world.

Favorite Species of Fish: One of the best fights I had was with a big Steel head trout in the Skeena river, B.C., Canada.
I had just moved there and waded through a little spring snow to get to a good bar where the river turns into ocean. With the current and power of the fish, I had a great battle on light rigging.
Hooked a very big Tuna out by coffin island near Ponche, Puerto Rico. Since we were in a sailboat, maneuvering the boat was not that good. By the time we landed it, the sharks had gotten half. If we had the whole fish, we would have won the tournament that day.
Landed some good sized halibut in the work channel and out by Porsche island near Prince Rupert, BC. They are like winching a big rock off the bottom. You just about get them up and then they decide other wise. This can happen a couple of times. When they decide to go down, they do. You have no control except how bad the drag burns.Favorite Tackle: I like both fly tackle (although the back of my head would tell you other-wise) and the big sticks. Finding which combination of tackle that works best is fun.
