Tom, Fishing on Chautauqua Lake is excellent. Walleye were a little scarcew for a few years but they are comning back. Let me explain the lake a little it has two basins, and they couldn't be more different. The North basin is deep and water is clear, the south is shallow and usually murky. Muskie fishing is good on the lake, Largemouth bass in the south basin is great, smallmouth on the north. Near the shore line weeds in both basins you will catch largemouth. There are plenty of perch and crappie is excellent.
