Anyone in or around Raleigh, NC want to go fishing this spring/summer? The wife wants me to have a fishing buddy along in case I break myself somehow. Considering the name of the group here I figure it would be good to pair up with someone whose family might could use some extra fish for dinner too. Good luck, and great fishing!

I fished Douglas Lake this past week. It was TOUGH. No bass...but I caught big buegills on a Bandit 100 Series Lure!!! Spoke to locals and they said the best bass bites came after 4-5pm to early evenings (I fished very early mornings to noon.) Maybe next time.
