I personally live and fish in the area and would love to see if anyone else from this community is nearby.

Hi Mitch. Welcome to the group! From your profile I see you're in Mount Kisco by the New Croton Reservoir. That's a great place for fishing -- from the shore or from a boat. I'm not too familiar with fishing at this time of year though. I usually go in the summer/fall.
